OUR MISSION
The People's Law Collective (PLC) is a legal services program that supports individuals facing State repression, criminalization, and disenfranchisement in the South of the United States through:
Legal representation and advocacy
Impact litigation
Holistic and wraparound services
Public education on relevant legal issues
Our attorneys are licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. We proactively work with local counsel in other jurisdictions to advance our mission.
We believe that we expand our impact by prioritizing those that face the most attacks from the State. Because of this, we currently prioritize representation of political defendants. We look forward to growing our program to provide more services to more individuals across the South.
